See this solar panel system with lights. Inexpensive, easy to install, reduce your power bill. Cheap Solar Power. Cheap Home System. See my part 2 video.
@london1817 Thank you for your prompt answer, I think that I going to get one soon and usually how much does it cost to install the system by the certified lectrician for the job?
This is going to end up being worse than oil .If solar goes mainstream residential the highly toxic byproduct form production will amass and have to be managed .
secondly as with everything in consumer capitalist culture the will wear out and have to be disposed of and fyi they are mildly radioactive.??????now ask yourself ???WHAT IF EVERY HOME IN AMERICA HAD ONE?????and ad this thought
Looking ahead its not worth it
but i’m just a crazy stoner what do i know
@limitup58 basically its wiser to invest in more at the beginning to get your rewards sooner. if you have enough , you can sell power back to a power grid
$250 for a system that only runs two lights? I don’t get it. How much electricity does it take for 2 light bulbs? I want solar power to run my frig, washer, computer, heater……….
Thats pretty nice and only running 2 lights? Goto LEDlight.com and get you 6 lights running at a watt each. I only recommend the white light for the can and non public areas.
Never been to harbor freight but its on my list of things to do.
@limitup58 ewww! how disgusting
read what i wrote -.# IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH #
sheesh focus
cheap is a relative term often- “cheaper” can also mean spending more at the beginning for a wiser investment- you will STILL have ot pay for traditional energy if you dont
i have a question for anyone willing to answer it. I bought two golf cart batteries both at 6v rating for 220ahs, i was wondering what would be the cheapest solar panel to charge them? how many watts would i need? Thank you very much.
@krazilogicz well, if you need to make your own, try connecting 12 “b” grade solar panels in a series, add a blocking diode or charge controller an your set.
a good idea would be hooking a 12v dc to 120v ac converter to the battery and then running wires through your walls and making a few outlets throughout the house to use instead of two simple lights, also adding a battery in parallel to double the life of the system, just make sure you have a converter that can handle the extra watts.
@krazilogicz Watts is amps x Volts. I would worry about amps and making sure you exceed the 12 volt needed. (13-15 or so) I made my own 3 panels for less than $260 and I am running 4 6v batteries in series/ parallel. I am running a large freezer full time. In the sun I am getting a constant 9 amps which is like having a battery charger hooked up to the batteries. This doesn’t even count my wind generator. I still say make your own stuff. I saved HUNDREDS. Take care.
@krazilogicz well its the really cheap way to do it but each panel is about 1-2 amps each=15-24 amps. look out- the ones i mentioned earlier are extremly fragile PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME SOLDERING/TABBIMG
Solar panels are indeed very helpful to us. This is a good solution to the continuous increase of energy price in the market. It gives life long benefits and very environmental friendly. I have developed a keen interest in this entire area. I find it very interesting how many people are so passionate about alternative and green energy sources.

400 watts means maximum load, so it could drive 4 100W lamps, or a 400w TV
@davepenk1066 Well…..maybe it could.

@YouubeT The have a bunch of cool solar stuff there.
Way smaller to way bigger….
rick just got my 2nd set of 45 watt hbf
OMG! Your voice is SOOO SEXY! It caught me off guard, lol! You’re cute!!!
@poosaypirate I think the point of the video was “Cheap Solar Power” not spending mega dollars, and selling it back to the the power grid.

@krazilogicz -what i said earlier might set you back about $50 altogether.

@moniters You need to watch part 2 of this video. I have it on here.
What a great simple system.
check us out if you’re looking for something even more complex.
@CalSolarEng Thanks for the comment!
I will check out your site! Thanks!
@bloodynikka1 so i buy 12 of those small solar cells and solder them together. that will give me enough amps to charge both those gofl cart batteries?
